In the framework of the work exchanges and collaborations between the members of the Making Histories team, Eddy Awouters, member of the Flemish Association of Teachers of History and Cultural Sciences, Belgium, has made his Secondment changes at the University of Deusto, Bilbao, Spain.
During his stay he had the opportunity to participate in enriching meetings and encounters with colleagues of the project, attend lectures and visit important museums.
The different experiences gave value to his work and contribution in innovative learning structures and new pedagogical perspectives, articulating with historical and didactic topics.
Some of the museums visited include: Bilbao Guggenheim Museum, Plentzia Maritime Museum, Bilbao Archeological Museum, Bilbao Museum of Reproductions, Vitoria Gastéiz Memorial Center for victims of Terrorism, Guernica museum of Peace, Zugarramurdiko Museum of the witches, among many others.
He has also participated in meetings in Donostia (San Sebastian) with members of the Bakeola-EDE Foundations, as well as with the school association Ikastolenelkartea.
